We detail those fees in a forthcoming section of this video. Enter your bank account credit card or debit card information. Click "continue" to move to the final step.

In this chapter, we'll show you how to add funds to your account to pay for postage and fees. But before we proceed let's review how payments work. Paying for the SimpleCertifiedMail.com
service is like using a postage meter. Before using the service, you fund your account to cover your anticipated mailing expenses for the first month or two, in what we call the standard
balance. As you use the service, your balance is reduced to cover Postage and fees. When your balance declines to 25% of the initial amount, the system automatically refills your account to the standard balance and sends a confirmation email to the designated email address.

Most clients fund their accounts directly from bank accounts via ACH. Credit and debit cards are also accepted but a 2.9% processor fee is levied on most cards. There's a 4% fee when using American Express. Your deposits are held in a separate trust account at BBNT bank and they are covered by a Fidelity Bond. At any time you can view your account online change your method of payment and adjust your standard balance based on usage. In addition all balances can be returned at your request.

SimpleCertifiedMail.com does not retain any banking credit card or debit card information in our system. For identification, the payment manager reflects only a few numbers from your checking or card accounts. All account routing and card numbers are immediately transmitted to our service provider, Forte Payment Systems. Forte returns a secure encrypted token that is used to process all transactions.
