Starting in 2005, working with the USPS, we created the industry’s first web-based software that produced a special Certified Mail® “black label” that included everything needed by the USPS to process Certified Mail – including electronic postage. This enabled clients to send Certified Mail letters without using the PS-3800 Receipt and PS-3811 Green Card. It also enabled clients to skip the step of taking their Certified Mail envelopes to the mail room or Post Office just to add postage.

Soon after, we added the capability to post the Return Receipt (Electronic) PDF to our clients’ accounts within 24 hours of their Certified Mail® being delivered. This was a huge improvement over waiting up to a week for the return of a Green Card. And it remains a unique benefit of the service.

At the same time, we launched Proof of Delivery (Electronic) for those users who did not require a Return Receipt (Electronic) with signature. The Proof of Delivery PDF file is also posted to client accounts within 24 hours of the Certified Mail® piece being delivered.

In 2011, we incorporated the new USPS Intelligent Mail Package Barcode technology to gain a higher level of visibility of the mail stream. This also enabled electronic Proof of Acceptance, thus eliminating the need to drop off the mail at the Post Office and use Scan Forms, Firm Books and Manifests.

Next, we added a Batch Processing Wizard making it easy for clients to mail hundreds or thousands of Certified Mail pieces using mailings lists they maintain in Microsoft® Excel or CSV file format.

In 2017 we added API support for enterprise clients seeking to integrate our services directly into their key web-based applications.

And in 2020, after Covid-19 caused many of our clients to work from their homes, we introduced the “Add Alternative Address” feature that enables clients to mail from their home address while the Certified Mail envelope still shows their office as the return address, all without interfering with electronic Proof of Acceptance.

Finally, we introduced Print Queue™ - enabling clients to add cover sheets to a queue as they work during the day but delay printing until later.
