With Covid-19, many of our clients are working from home. That means preparing and mailing work-related Certified Mail letters from a home address, which is normally in a different Zip Code than the client’s office address. Of course, clients still want the return address that appears on their Certified Mail® letters to be their official office address. The new Add Alternate Address field on the Create Cover Sheets & Labels screen signals to the USPS that you are mailing from an “alternate address,” which helps ensure you receive an accurate Proof of Acceptance, while the Certified Mail letter still shows your office address as the return address.
